This customer had timber Venetian blinds that let too much light in at night. She wanted to keep the Venetians for daytime privacy but add block out curtains to make the room dark for sleeping.
Contemporary block-out curtains for a modern home
As the Venetian blinds were face fitted we installed the curtain track to the ceiling in front of the Venetians and returned the fabric all the way back to the wall on one side and butted the other side up to the wall to give maximum coverage.
Our customer wanted a fabric that reflected their Pittwater location with views of the water, so she chose a blue and white sheer fabric and we lined it with a white blockout lining. The end result was exactly what our customer wanted, the curtains looked fantastic and made the room a lot more comfortable to sleep in.
